PCU Placement Policy for A.Y. 2025-2026

The Industry Institute Interaction Cell follows certain placement procedures to ensure the professional and seamless placement activities of all Pimpri Chinchwad University students. All students are hereby advised to adhere to the rules and regulations laid down to provide a fair chance to all deserving students.

(A) Policy of Attendance:

Only those students would be eligible to appear in placement process who have fulfilled the following criteria:

Clause A1: Attendance should be more than 70% throughout the semester.
Clause A2: Attendance for all training related to placement activities should be 100%.
Clause A3: Attendance for all Pre-Placement Talks/Sessions (based on your specializations or when asked by the T&P team) should be 100%.

(B) Policy for Applying for any opportunity shared by the IIIC team:

Clause B1: All those opportunities shared related to your specializations need to be applied.
Clause B2: Criteria of qualifying companies of Clause B1: CTC ≥ 3.0 Lacs (Inclusive of all possible variables) or Company is of reputed brand.
Clause B3: If a student fails to apply for consecutive 3 companies fulfilling Clause B2, then the student would be considered placed, as the student would be regarded as not interested in the placement process.
Clause B4: The maximum number of companies that can be forgone, fulfilling Clause B1 and Clause B2, would be 3 numbers in the placement year 2024-2025.
Clause B5: The offers rolled out need to be accepted and the company should be joined (if asked to by the company). If the student refuses to join the company then he or she will be considered as placed or not interested in the placement process.
Clause B6: Students will be given Pan India interviews and will be ready to join any Pan India location.
Clause B7: Students confirming their interest in a particular company by submitting their CV or details will not be allowed to back off or withdraw without proper communication and approvals from the IIIC team.

(C) Policy for re-applying after getting one Offer:

Any student having an offer can apply for another company provided:

(a) That company is the preferred organization as compared to one with which the student has offered. The CTC offered by this company is 50% more as compared to the one with which the student has an offer.

(D) Code of Conduct/Behavior for Placement Process:

Students not following Placement's code of conduct will be removed from the placement process. The following are such cases.

Clause D1: If any negative feedback is obtained from HR of the interviewing company regarding the wrong conduct during interviews or any misbehavior with the recruiting team member.
Clause D2: Student not appearing for the scheduled interview, which was already informed.
Clause D3: If no prior information/approval was obtained from the T&P team for the absence in the interview due to any emergency case.
Clause D4: Any direct communication with HR of the interviewing company will lead to disqualification.
Clause D5: A student failing to register and or appear for the interviews of three consecutive companies would be likely to get expelled from the placement process.
Clause D6: Failing to follow the professional atticates of the placement process (attire, grooming & punctuality).
